السعودية تعلن رسميا تأجيل القمة العربية الإفريقية

أعلنت المملكة العربية السعودية، اليوم الثلاثاء، تأجيل القمة العربية الإفريقية، بعدما كانت مقررة يوم 11 نونبر الجاري، بسبب الأحداث في قطاع غزة.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السعودية “واس” أنه جاء، في بيان لوزارة الخارجية السعودية، أنه “بعد التنسيق مع أمانة جامعة الدول العربية ومفوضية الاتحاد الإفريقي، وحرصاً على ألا تؤثر الأحداث السياسية في المنطقة على الشراكة العربية الإفريقية التي ترتكز على البعد التنموي والاقتصادي، فقد تقرر تأجيل موعد انعقاد القمة العربية الإفريقية الخامسة إلى وقتٍ يحدد لاحقا”.

وأضافت الخارجية السعودية أن ذلك يأتي “نظرا إلى التطورات الحالية في غزة، والتي استدعت الدعوة إلى انعقاد قمة عربية غير عادية وقمة إسلامية تختصان ببحث الأزمة الحالية وما تشهده من تداعيات إنسانية خطيرة”.
