أقف أنا واللغة عاجزين خائبين عن دبج كلمات تليق باصطبارك، وشدتك وتماسكك، لنصف كل هذا الكون اللامتناهي من إطاقتك وتجشمك، وقد نزل فيك من البلاوي والشدائد ما لو أحاط بدولة لنسفها وحطم أركانها وهدم بنيانها، لأمثالك لا يقدم العزاء فالعزاء دعوة لرزق الصبر، وأنت هو الصبر عينه، نحن من نحتاج منك العزاء، يعزينا التاريخ في إنسانيتنا التي انتسبنا إليها ظلما وبهتانا، فقط لأننا على هيئة إنسان، دماء وأرواح زوجتك وأبنائك وحفيدك وكل جيرانك وكل شهداء الإبادة تطوقنا الإنسانية جمعاء، وتستعلمها حد توبيخها، بأي ذنب قتلوا؟
وحين اغتال الوحوش رفيقة دربك، ومعها أميرتك شام، ونجلك محمود وحفيدك آدم، أذرفتَ دموع اللوعة كما أذرفها الأنبياء، وكنت مؤمنا موقنا كأنه أوحي إليك من قبل بحجم مآسيك التي تنوء على كيلها الموازين، واستتبت وصلبت وصمدت كأنك قطعة من حديد، بل إنك هو الصبر ذاته، وواصلت مقاومتك بإذاعة الحقيقة كاملة غير منقوصة، فأسست لصحافة المقاومة، وأشعت المعنى الصادق للوثوق والاحتساب، والدلالة الشديدة المكينة لحب الوطن، فجاز للمرء يا أخي وائل أن يتطرف في حبين، في حب الوطن وفي حب الوالدين، وحين عادت آلة القتل لتغتال آخر من تبقى لك وهو بكرك حمزة، وقفت مرة أخرى ثابتا كالكوكب، راسخا كالحقيقة، شاهدا كالتاريخ، تبكي الإنسانية التي بلي ضميرها بعدما بنوه للمجهول، ورهونه لدى الجنس المعلوم مع سبق الإصرار والترصد…
أي أخي الدحدوح:
ما أقسى مصيبتك ورزيئتك، وما أبشع خطبك وفجيعتك، لكن ما أشدك وما أجسرك وما أقدرك، حتى أنك تجعل فجيعتك تخجل منك،لا شبيه لك أخي في كل ما قرأت في كتب التاريخ وأساطير الأولين، غير صبر الأولياء والمرسلين، فأي قلب يخفق بين أضلعك يا رجل؟ أي عقل هذا الذي يهبك الاستقامة والصمود؟ فأنت وحدك مقاومة، فبقدر إرهابهم وترهيبهم كنت واثقا مطمئنا مؤمنا.
